Though, Theo John didn’t hear his name called by Adam Silver at the NBA Draft Thursday June 23, 2022 in Brooklyn at Barclays Center he was offered an opportunity to play in NBA Summer League for his hometown team as Theo John from Minneapolis Minnesota.

The Minnesota Timberwolves where In Summer League he is going to be playing alongside his former teammate Wendell Moore Jr. who unlike him was drafted in the 2022 NBA Draft by Dallas before they traded pick to Houston who traded his rights to Minnesota.
