Luke Kennard Starts, Has The Hot Hand, Scores 30 Points, Leads The Way For Duke
There was nothing new about the crowd Friday night at Cameron as the preseason number one team in the country took the court in front of an electric crowd. Although there was something different about Mike Krzyzwski's starting lineup against Virginia State sophomore Luke Kennard was starting instead of coming off the bench. Luke Kennard didn't disappoint!
The sophomore guard was shooting lights out as he scored thirty points in a 90-59 victory over Virginia State. The offense didn't stop after halftime though it continued in the second with freshman Frank Jackson getting in on the action hitting two threes.
