It’s the No.1 sports franchise in the world . It’s going to be a fun ride. I can’t wait to get there and just try to settle in as fast as I can.

Luke Voit was in a bad place mentally when the trade first happened on July 29, 2021!
Why?
Luke Voit had this say!
When it first happened … I was very frustrated," Voit said, according to Randy Miller of NJ Advance Media. "I was in a bad place mentally."
I've done so much for this organization and obviously I didn't think (the Yankees trading for a first baseman) was a possibility, but that's what happens when you've only played 30 games by the deadline," Voit said. "And obviously, we've been a righty-dominant lineup, so I understand it. It's the business part of it."
Lately, Anthony Rizzo hasn’t been play first base for New York!
Why?
Because tested positive for the coronavirus on August 8, 2021!
When Anthony Rizzo does return where is Luke Voit going to play and how much is he going to play?
Luke Voit will likely move into a lesser role!
Luke Voit had this to say about that!
It’s probably something I'll get talked to about," Voit said. "I’m sure Rizzo will be back sometime this week, whenever he's feeling healthy again. We'll see. I came up (with St. Louis) as a pinch hitter, so I'm pretty capable of doing a really good job doing that. Maybe with Giancarlo (Stanton) playing outfield more, it opens up the DH spot for me. There (are) a lot of moving parts and you don't know what can happen. You don't want injuries and stuff to happen."
