Michael King, New York Are Looking To Bounce Back As New York, Boston Open Up A Three Game Series Tonight In Bronx New York

Michael King, New York are looking to bounce back as New York, Boston open up a three game series tonight in Bronx New York.

Why?

Because Michael King allowed four runs against Detroit!

When?

Sunday!

Where?

Detroit Michigan!

And New York lost the finale of the four game series to Tampa Bay by a score of 9-2!

When?

Yesterday!

Where?

Bronx New York!

Why?

Gerrit Cole struggled to effectively elevate his fastball, firing too many misplaced “noncompetitive” pitches, by his own assessment.

And gave up a a pair of two-out RBI singles in the fifth inning that broke the game open. New York trailed, 2-1, at the time, before Brandon Lowe hooked a changeup to right to score one and Yandy Díaz lined an elevated slider up the middle to plate two more.

Offensively the only support Gerrit Cole got was from Brett Gardner, Miguel Andujar as they both homered.

But will Michael King, New York get the opportunity to bounce back tonight?

That decision will be made by mother nature!

Why?

Because there is a 43% chance of precipitation at first pitch.
