Following 17th ranked North Carolina topping Appalachian State in double overtime in Chapel Hill Saturday following starting quarterback Drake Maye 13 yard running touchdown North Carolina Mack Brown had this to say about Omarion Hampton who scored three touchdowns!
Omarion is a really good player, and we've seen that type of performance coming,"Tonight, he ran the ball so well for the whole game, over 230 yards rushing and was the difference in the ball game."
t was a great football game, and I'm proud of our guys,"We talk about finishing all the time, there were times we didn't finish during the night but we finished when it mattered in the end. That's the first time we've won an overtime game since I've been here."
