Chase Brice Is Making His Debut For Duke As They Kickoff Their Season Verses Notre Dame In South Bend

Duke and Notre Dame will kickoff their seasons against each other on Saturday afternoon!

Where?

In South Bend Indiana!

Like Duke,Notre Dame is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference in every sport with the exception coming on the gridiron where they’re independent except 2020 is an exception as Notre Dame will be a member of the Atlantic Conference on the gridiron this year!

Why?

The last time Duke and Notre Dame played in South Bend was four years ago when Duke knocked off Notre Dame by a score of 38-35.

In that game Daniel Jones who then was Duke’s quarterback threw for three touchdowns, including a 64-yard scoring pass to Anthony Nash midway through the fourth quarter to tie the score as Duke (2-2) beat the Irish for just the second time in five tries. Who is he?

Like Daniel Jones, Chase Brice is a quarterback but unlike Daniel Jones Chase Brice hasn’t always played for David Cutcliffe at Duke as the quarterback transferred from Clemson where he played for Dabo Swinney and was back to Trevor Lawrence.

During his tenure at Clemson in 2017 Chase Brice did not see the gridiron!
