David Cutcliffe The Head Coach Of Duke Has Added Another Name To His Title

David Cutcliffe is the Head Coach of Duke but he will be adding another role to his head coaching responsibilities

In recent years Zack Roper has called the plays for the offense but in 2020 David Cutcliffe will take over play calling duties.

David Cutcliffe had this to say about taking over the play calling duties.

“I’ve been wanting to get back in it,” Cutcliffe said on a conference call with reporters. “It’s something that’s near and dear to me. I’ve missed it. I think it’s the right time.” “according to an article written by Stephen Wiseman of the News & Observer

in 2019 Duke finished with a record of 5-7 while they were 3-5 in the Coastal Division Of The Atlantic Coast Conference.

With David Cutcliffe calling the plays for the offense will Duke perhaps have a better record then last season? Will they return to a bowl in 2020?
