North Carolina Announces Their 2018 Schedule

A pair of rivalry games in November and six total home contests highlight the 2018 North Carolina football schedule as released by the Atlantic Coast Conference Wednesday. After an open week, the Tar Heels will host Virginia Tech on Oct. 13 before another set of back-to-back road games. On Oct. 20, Carolina will visit Syracuse for the first ACC meeting between the two schools, which have not faced off on the gridiron since 2003. In four all-time meetings, the road team has won all four contests - Syracuse won in Chapel Hill in 1995 and 2003 while the Tar Heels were victorious in the Carrier Dome in 1996 and 2002. UNC and Virginia will face off in the 123rd edition of the South's Oldest Rivalry in Charlottesville on Oct. 27.
