We’ve got to figure out how to clean up our mess . Our mess is our mess . I wish I could look at you guys and say these teams are beating us. I think some of them are playing well . I just think some of it has do with what we’re not doing or have to go do better ‘‘ We’ve got great kids . Do I have leaders in the locker room ? Yes, but I need more . I need Ben Middlebrooks to be a lead I need Michael (O’Connell) to step up. It’s hard for the new guys because they don’t know what to say because they haven’t had enough success in an NC State basketball jersey to be able to say something but the guys who have been here they know what it’s like . They know what ACC basketball is about . They know the ups and downs that you can have in a season . They know the prize at the end if you play well. I need them to share that and get us where we need to be.

There will be no players up here tonight,”They wanted to have a players-only meeting.”I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a game where, collectively, we have four assists. I saw some selfish play out there tonight. I take responsibility for that,”“I’ve got to teach the guys the importance of the extra pass, and ultimately, I’ve got to curtail minutes of guys that are not making the extra pass.”
“Some of that’s on me, and some of that’s on the players.”I'll be challenging our players extensively early this week,”I'll be challenging myself. I'll be challenging staff. We must be better.”
