Dontrez Styles was 7-10 on field goals, 3-4 on 3 pointers to go along with 5 rebounds, 18 points. Jayden Taylor was 8-13 on field goals, 2-6 on 3 pointers to go along with 2 rebounds, 19 points. Paul McNeil was 5-8 on field goals, 2-5 on 3 pointers to go along with 3 rebounds, 14 points.

They (North Carolina ) did what was necessary for them to win.

I’m glad they feel the way they do. You’re never going to see walk into a press conference and blame it on our players . I’ll take the blame myself . but I’m glad they feel that way … I don’t want guys to after a game feel great , even it’s a two point game. There are some things we can do better. We’ll get better.

NC State is now going to host Wake Forest Saturday afternoon in North Carolina’s state capital!

“I think we have to get connected defensively,”This particular group is having too many breakdowns. … We’ve got so many new pieces. Now, I get it. So many other people do, too, but we’re still trying to learn each other, and we got to learn each other really quick.”
