Every effort and physicality part about the game from the stretch they dominated . They’re a very good team and they played tonight hungry in every aspect of the game and I thought that was the deciding factor.

Following Syracuse’s 91-84 loss to Miami Tuesday night in Coral Gables Florida Syracuse Head Coach Adrian Autry had this to say about how his team guarded Miami defensively!
Obviously very disappointed,"
Falls on me. We played with no.... we just didn't play defense. We just showed up today. We gave up 90 points. We talked about what we needed to do and we didn't do it. You can't play this game on one end of the floor and have no interest on the other end. That's what I felt my team did today. That's why we lost. We've had some ups and downs this year, but today, I was very, very disappointed in the effort. Had nothing to do with anything else but our effort and our defense. We didn't do that at all today."
"Some of the games we just... bad start or whatever it is, but you got to play defense in this game. You got to be tough. You got to get on the floor. You have to have the will and determination to stop people. We just didn't do that tonight at all. At all."
I've been around, so this has happened before," Autry said. "This happens. But I thought we prepared, I thought we had a good couple of days of practice. I just really thought we were more prepared than this. I just did. Especially on the defensive side of it. It's just disappointing. Obviously it's frustrating but it's just disappointing. Actually, it's just unacceptable to be honest with you."
