Jon Scheyer was a Special Assistant to Mike Krzyzewski in 2013-2014 season. Jon Scheyer was an Assistant Coach to Mike Krzyzewski from 2014-2018 before becoming Associate Head Coach to Duke Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski from 2018-2022. On June 4 2021 Jon Scheyer was named Duke’s 20th Head Coach.

To share that together, going through this for the first time, and for the regular season to end this way with winning the tournament championship is really special. Along the way -- I'll tell these guys if we can ever get together, but just enjoy the wins along the way. Winning a championship is a special thing, so I want to enjoy this tonight. I want these guys to enjoy it. We'll figure out where we're going tomorrow and worry about that then."

Oral Roberts was crowned Summit League Champions following 92- 58 win over North Dakota State Tuesday March 7, 2023.
Max Abmas had 26 points, 11 assists and Oral Roberts overwelmed North Dakota State Max Abamas had 26, 11 assists, Patrick Mwamba scored 17 of his 20 points in first half. Issac McBride, Connor Vanover, Deshang Weaver each scored 10 points.
