Mark Williams is Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player Of The Year!

Though,

Mark Williams isn’t the only one in his family to be named Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player Of The Year as his sister Elizabeth Williams who played for the Duke Women’s Basketball team was also named Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year while she played for Duke from 2011 -2014 as she was Four-Time ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

She has since moved on to playing professionally in the WNBA!

Elizabeth Williams Drafted fourth overall by Connecticut in the 2015 WNBA Draft. Traded to the Atlanta Dream on February 3, 2016 from the Connecticut Sun for the No. 4 pick in the 2016 WNBA draft. Signed a multi-year contract with Atlanta on April 3, 2018.
