With 10:11 to go in regulation Trevor Keels right leg twisted awkwardly in a pileup of players after he fouled Jalen Warley who like Trevor Keels is a guard and wears number 1 just like Trevor Keels. Trevor Keels was helped off the hardwood by Mike Krzyzewski , trainer Jose Fonseca before being taken back to the Duke locker room and did not return to the game.

In Duke’s 78-79 overtime loss to Florida State No. 6 Duke came back from a nine-point deficit with under seven minutes left in the second half to force overtime, but a Wendell Moore Jr., attempt in the final seconds was blocked as the Blue Devils fell at Florida State, 79-78, Tuesday night at the Tucker Center.
After a Caleb Mills jumper put the Seminoles ahead 59-50 at the 6:52 mark, Duke went on a 17-6 run capped off by a dunk from sophomore Mark Williamswith 30 seconds left to reclaim a two-point advantage. Following a Florida State timeout, RayQuan Evans drove the lane and got the ball to drop high off the window and in as the final seconds ticked off, sending the game to an extra period.
The overtime period featured seven lead changes, and Duke (14-3, 4-2 ACC) held a 78-77 lead with 36 seconds left thanks to a pair of free throws by freshman Paolo Banchero, who finished with a game-high 20 points. Evans was able to draw a foul on the next FSU possession and sank two free throws of his own to put the Seminoles back on top with 12 seconds remaining. Moore received the inbounds pass and pushed the ball down the court, finding an opening in the lane. He attempted a potential game-winning floater, but it was rejected by John Butler and the ball rolled towards midcourt as the buzzer sounded.
The loss marks the second in four games for the Blue Devils, who will return to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday for a noon matchup with Syracuse. Williams recorded 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, while Moore added 13 points and four boards. Banchero brought down 12 rebounds to go with his 20-point effort, giving him his third double-double of the season.
Mills netted a team-high 18 points for the Seminoles (11-5, 5-2 ACC). Butler added 14 on 5-of-8 shooting, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Florida State outrebounded Duke by a 42-37 margin, highlighted by 19 offensive boards that yielded 12 second-chance points.

Trevor Keels averaged 16.7 points on .548 field goal shooting and .455 from three-point range with 6.3 rebounds over contests against Virginia on Monday, at Clemson on Thursday and at Boston College on Saturday. In the 82-64 victory at Clemson, he posted his first career double-double with 25 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, finishing 9-of-13 from the field and 3-of-6 behind the arc with no turnovers. The Clinton, Md., native became just the sixth Duke player under head coach Mike Krzyzewski to record 25+ points and 10+ boards while not committing a turnover, and the first to do so since 2015.
Trevor Keels carried that efficiency up north, as he shot 5-of-7 for 13 points, four rebounds and two assists in the 72-61 win at BC. Over Duke's last four games, he leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points on .541 shooting with 5.5 rebounds in that stretch.

Florida State comes into the game with a record of 14-11 11-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is ninth in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings because they narrowly beat Clemson on Tuesday night 81-80 in Tallahassee. In Florida State’s 81-80 win over Clemson Tuesday RayQuan Evans shot the game-winning free throw with 14 seconds left in leading the Seminoles to an 81-80 win over Clemson at home this evening. Evans scored a career-high 28 points and the Seminoles snapped their six-game losing streak.
