Duke Beats Wake Forest Again, Sweeps Them In The Regular Season With Win In Winston- Salem As Wake Forest Suffers Another Loss To Duke And Loses Head Coach Steve Forbes In The Process

Joey Baker hit 4 of 7 from three-point range and finished with 12 points for Duke (9-8, 7-6 ACC). Sophomore Wendell Moore Jr. scored 11 points.
Wake Forest went scoreless for nearly five minutes as Duke scored 12 consecutive points to make it 29-13 when senior Jordan Goldwire hit a three-pointer with 7:18 left in the first half, and the Blue Devils led by double figures the rest of the way.

Sophomore forward Ody Oguama's layup marked Wake Forest's first points of the night with 17:22 remaining in the first half.
Coming out of the under-16 timeout, Oguama tied the game at eight by converting a successful three-point play.
After several traded baskets, Duke went on a 18-2 run to hold a 29-13 lead with 7:22 left in the half.
Over the next few minutes, the Deacs built some momentum on offense thanks to baskets from junior guard Daivien Williamson, but Duke's offensive efficiency continued going into the under-four timeout.
Wake Forest entered the intermission trailing Duke 45-26.
The second half began with six straight points from Oguama, giving him a team-high 11 points.
Consecutive three-pointers from sophomore forward Ismael Massoud and graduate guard Jonah Antonio gave the Deacs some life prior to the second media timeout of the second half. Duke responded with baskets of their own to hold their lead 68-43.
Daivien Williamson reached double digits for the ninth time of the season after netting his second three-pointer of the game with 8:19 remaining.
Despite Wake Forest's efforts to make a second half push, the deficit was too large to overcome which gave Duke the win, 84-60.
Ody Oguama led the way with 14 points. Williamson added in 12 and graduate Ian DuBose added in 10 as well for his third consecutive double-digit scoring game.
