We’re 127 days from the NBA Draft taking place. Why? Because the NBA is about to resume their 2020 season after figuring how to restart their season despite the Corona Virus that is still affecting us in the United States.
The NBA Mock Draft was recently updated. So where could Tre Jones possibly begin his professional career in the NBA? On the west coast with the Los Angeles Lakers if they pick him twenty ninth. The Lakers could view Jones as a rookie who'd immediately help with his passing IQ and defensive pressure. Teams aren't sold on his improved production translating to NBA scoring, but there is still confidence in his potential to carve out a role, running a second unit, making good decisions and guarding his position.
If selected by Los Angeles in the NBA Draft Tre Jones would have the opportunity to learn and play with a former Duke player. Who is it? His name is Quinn Cook. He helped Duke along with Tre Jones older brother Tyus Jones who currently is a member of the Memphis Grizzlies win a National Title five years ago knocking off Wisconsin 68-63 in Indianapolis. So far this season Quinn Cook is averaging 4.8 points per game, 1.1 rebounds per game and 1.1 assists per game. “accoriding to https://www.espn.com/nba/player/_/id/2566745/quinn-cook
