Tre Jones, Derryck Thornton Matchup As Duke Heads To Chestnut Hill Massachusetts For Rematch With Boston College
Once again Duke’s current point guard and former point guard will matchup in a game.
This time in a rematch when Duke who is ranked seventh in this weeks AP Top 25 poll and and Tre Jones head to Chestnut Hill Massachusetts where they will take on Derryck Thornton and Boston College on Tuesday night.
Tre Jones is a sophomore at Duke while Derryck Thornton is a graduate student at Boston College. However, He did run the point for Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski for sometime during his college career. That was back during the 2015-16 season when he was freshman. Started at point guard in 20 of Duke's 36 games last season and averaged 7.1 points and 2.6 assists per game.
