Joey Baker Is Making Contributions For Duke Coming Off The Bench
Earlier this season I asked this ? in an article.
Should Joey Baker replace Wendell Moore Jr. in the starting lineup for Duke?
Turns out I’ve had a change a heart since I wrote that article. I think the sophomore forward has found his groove contributing off the bench for Mike Krzyzewski who is in his 40th as the head coach at Duke.
How has the sophomore from Fayetteville North Carolina made his contributions felt when coming off the bench?
In Duke’s last game before heading into Christmas break against Wofford who had played at North Carolina just days earlier Joey Baker contributed 22 points that included 5 three pointers to help Duke defeat Wofford. “according to https://goduke.com/news/2019/12/19/mens-basketball-bakers-career-night-leads-no-4-duke-past-wofford-86-57.aspx
What will the sophomore forward contribute to Duke’s next game and throughout the season? That question is yet to be answered but one thing I know is that the forward from Fayetteville North Carolina has found a way not only to contribute but to help his team win.
