NC State Concludes Their Homestand With FIU Before Heading To Brooklyn New York For The Barclays Center Classic
After rebounding from their season opening loss on Sunday against Detroit Mercy NC State will closeout their two game homestand with FIU before heading to Brooklyn New York for the Barclays Center Classic that will include four games
NC State who is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference comes into the game with a record of 1-1 while FIU who is a member of Conference USA also comes into the game with a record of 1-1.
As for NC State’s previous game they recorded their first win of the season where they defeated Detroit Mercy and junior Braxton Beverly put on a show. But he wasn’t the only player to contribute for the team located in North Carolina’s state capital.

Braxton Beverly led the Pack with a career-high 23 points. The junior guard took advantage of the Titans' zone, knocking down 6-of-9 three-pointers to also set a career high in three pointers made in a single game. Braxton Beverly wasn’t the only player to contribute to NC State’s first win of the 2019-20 season though as his teammates C.J. Bryce and Devon Daniels complemented Beverly's charge with 19 points and 14 points, respectively. Meanwhile Markell Johnson made his season debut with an impressive 10 assists, leading the team in the category for the 50th game of his career while climbing the Pack's all-time assists leaderboard. He now sits at No. 8 in NC State history with 407 career assists. he FIU men's basketball team began its home slate of the 2019-20 season with a contest against Ave Maria at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Friday night.
