Duke Opens Exhibition Slate With Virginia Union

The off-season is now in the rear view as the exhibition slate begins as Duke who is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference  will host Virginia Union On Tuesday who is a member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Starting over with a new roster every season is nothing new for head coach Mike Krzyzewski as it has actually become more like a routine. This years roster includes freshman Tre Jones who is the younger brother of Tyus Jones who led Duke to a national title in 2015 before moving on to the NBA as he is currently a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. As for his fellow freshman they include Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, R.J. Barrett and Joey Baker. As for the players returning they include Javin Delaurier who is a junior , Jordan Goldwire who is a sophomore, Alex O'Connell who is also a sophomore , Marques Bolden who is a junior , Antonio Vrankovic who is a senior, Jack White and Justin Robinson who are juniors along with walk-ons Mike Buckmire who is a sophomore and Brennan Besser who is a senior.
