Duke Continues Their Homestand With Hartford

The homestand started with Indiana and Stetson and the homestand for Duke will continue on Wednesday when they host Hartford.

Duke who is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference comes into the game with a record of 7-1 while Hartford who is a member of the America East Conference comes into the game with a record of 3-6.

As for Duke’s previous game, they blew out Stetson.

The Hartford men's basketball team took down visiting Bowling Green on Saturday, scoring a 76-63 victory inside Reich Family Pavilion. Trailing by four early at the 16:52 mark, Hartford heated up and delivered a 23-5 run to go up by 14 points at 25-11 with 7:30 remaining in the opening stanza. The Hawks held the Falcons scoreless for a five-minute stretch during that run, scoring 11-unanswered points off of four Bowling Green turnovers. After exchanging three-pointers to open the second, Dylan Frye knocked down back-to-back threes to ignite a 14-0 Falcons' run that put them in front, 41-40, with 10:59 left o play. The lead was short-lived, though, as a 9-2 spurt capped by Dunne's third three of the stanza made it a 51-45 Hartford lead with 7:33 to go.   • Dunne, who knocked down six triples at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, continued his hot shooting from behind the arc with a 5-of-8 effort.

  • The Hawks were sensational from the free-throw line, making their first 23 attempts of the game before finishing 23-for-24.
