As a player for Mike Krzyzewski Chris Carrawell was a two-time All-ACC selection. He is tied for 32nd on the all-time scoring list at Duke with 1,455 career points and also ranks 15th in school history with 0.8 blocks per game and tied for eighth with 116 overall wins. Chris Carrawell will get to experience his first regular season game as a member of the Duke coaching staff on Tuesday when Duke takes on Kentucky in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis where he will be sitting alongside Nate James, Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith who are all former Duke players who played for Mike Krzyzewski. Nate James was on the 2001 National Title team while Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith won a national title as teammates in 2010.
