Duke's Mike Krzyzewski To Coach In ACC Home Opener Before Stepping Away For Back Surgery

 

It was announced that Mike Krzyzewski would coach in Duke's home ACC  opener Tuesday  and then step away for back surgery to remove a fragment herniated disk in his lower back. Dr. William Richardson and Dr. Allen Friedman and the medical team  have worked hard to help manage the pain but have come to the conclusion that surgery is the best way to relieve the problem.
