The One and Done Rule

Let's talk the one and done rule in college basketball shall we. Today the college game is hurting due to players leaving early for the NBA.  Yes some of them may be developed but some of them may not . For example Josh Richardson spent four years at Tennessee and he improved every year and when he got to the league he was ready to contribute right away below are his stats while he was at Tennessee.

Now back to my argument, The National Football League and Major League Baseball both have a rule and I think it is a great rule because when the player gets to the league he is ready to contribute right away. 

To be eligible for the NFL Draft "According to operations .nfl.com "  A player must attend three years of college while playing college football and used up that three years of eligibility before the next season begins. 

"According to MLB.com"  high school players have to have graduated high school and not yet attended college or junior college. Players that attended four year colleges have to either complete their junior year or senior year or they have to be 21 to be eligible for the draft. 

Why doesn't the NBA have a rule ? In my opinion and I am sticking to it!  There needs to be a rule in place for college basketball. The players may not be getting paid when they are in college but their gaining the experience from their coaches to help prepare them for the next level when they will get paid to do what they are passionate about.  

Now that I have shared my thoughts on the one and done rule I want to know where other college basketball fans stand on this issue!  Are you with me? against me ? or do you  even have an opinion ?
