Gerrit Cole, Masahiro Tanaka Get Another Crack At Baltimore As The Two Teams Play A Doubleheader In Bronx New York

The opening game of the four game series in Bronx New York between New York and Baltimore was postponed on Thursday night!

Why?

Because mother nature had other plans!

With opening game of the four game series being postponed New York and Baltimore who are both members of the American League East will play a doubleheader to begin their four game series!

On Friday afternoon where Gerrit Cole and Masahiro Tanaka will take the mound for New York where both pitchers will get another crack at Baltimore!

The right-hander gave up four runs (two earned) in 5 1/3 innings against Baltimore on Sunday, taking his second loss of 2020. He will oppose Keegan Akin who unlike him is a right handed pitcher! Keegan Akin comes into the game with a record of 0-0 with an earn run average of 2.08. In his second MLB start last time out, Akin outpitched Gerrit Cole.
