A rookie has made the opening day roster for the team that wears the pinstripes.

Who is he?

His name is Michael King!

Michael King who is a right handed pitcher is from Rochester New York and played collegiality at Boston College.

He was supposed to pitch in the minor leagues this season where he finished with a record of 3-2 with a 5.48 last year. However, that isn’t happening! Why? Because the minor league season was shutdown because of the Coronavirus that is effecting in the United States and around the world.

Instead, Michael King will be pitching for the team that wears the pinstripes.

Why?

Because he made the opening day roster instead of Clarke Schmidt was sent to the alternate training site Tuesday. The pair of moves could signal that King will open the season with a spot in the starting rotation while Masahiro Tanaka (concussion) continues to recover. “according to an article by RotoWire Staff on cbs sports.com.
