The Preseason AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll For 2023-2024 Season Was Released Today! Where Is Duke Ranked In The Preseason AP Top 25 Poll For 2023-2024 Season?

When fans, media , spectators think about Duke the first thing that likely comes to mind is roster turnover because that happens every season as players who were freshman that season decide to enter their names in the NBA Draft and forgo the remainder of their collegiate eligibility or they enter names in the NBA Draft while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. Then you’ve got other players or a player who is playing with 6th season of collegiate eligibility in backup center graduate student Ryan Young who is a graduate transfer from Northwestern where he played for former Duke Assistant Duke Associate Head Coach current Northwestern Head Coach Chris Collins. As a freshman in 2022-2023,

Kyle Filipowski averaged 15.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists while shooting 44.1 %.

As a freshman in 2022-2023,

Tyrese Proctor averaged 9.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists while shooting 38.1 %

As a freshman in 2022-2023,

Mark Mitchell averaged 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists while shooting 46.9%

As a junior in 2022-2023,

Jeremy Roach averaged 13.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists while shooting 42.6%

As a graduate from Northwestern playing his inaugural season playing for Duke Head Coach Jon Scheyer who like his Head Coach at Northwestern is a former Duke Assistant Coach Duke Associate Head Coach back up center Ryan Young averaged 6.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists while shooting 68.5%
