Javin DeLaurier Decides To Return To Duke, Marques Bolden Turning Pro

As a players there are times when they have to make decisions but each players decision may not be the same.

That is the case with Javin DeLaurier and Marques Bolden who both played for Mike Krzyzewski last season and then decided to test the NBA Draft process.

As a junior Javin Delaurier played in all 33 games he was available, missing four games with a leg injury
• Made the first five starts of his career late in the season and Duke went 4-1 in those games
• Averaged career highs in points (3.4), rebounds (4.0) and minutes (12.7)
• Ripped down a career-high 11 rebounds in Duke’s season-opening win over Elon (11/10)
• Logged a then-career-high 24 minutes in the win over No. 2 Michigan State in the Champions Classic (11/14) and set career-highs in assists (4), steals (3), while scoring four points with seven rebounds
• Had six points, six boards and a career-high four blocked shots against Furman (11/20)
• Scored 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and was a rebound shy of his first career double-double in just 15 minutes of action against South Dakota (12/2)

• Missed the season opener versus Elon with an illness, but made his debut the next night and scored two points with one rebound, two blocks and a steal versus Utah Valley (11/11)
• Pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds and added eight points against Portland State (11/23)
• Gave Duke 12 solid minutes in the PK80 championship game win over Florida (11/26) with two points, three rebounds and two assists
• Collected his first career double-double with a career-high 17 points and 10 boards in just 15 minutes of action versus St. Francis (12/5)
• Was a career-best 7-of-11 from the field in the St. Francis game
• Sustained a knee injury in practice leading up to the NC State game (1/6) and missed seven consecutive games
• Returned to action against Notre Dame (1/29) and played 12 minutes with three rebounds
• Came off the bench for 10 strong minutes at St. John’s (2/3), scoring four points, grabbing six rebounds and swatting two shots
