Notre Dame Nips Colorado, Advances To Legends Classic Championship

 

How was Mike Brey's team going to do playing in the Barclay's Center home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets ? Apparently it's nothing new to them as Notre Dame is usually successful when they play there. 

Monday night was no different as Notre Dame 4-0 beat Colorado 3-1 by a score of 89-81 to advance to the championship game. The Irish knocked down the first seven shot attempts and gained an 11 point lead on the Buffalo's at 17-6 four minutes in to the game. The second half got off to a great start as Notre Dame and Colordo traded baskets for the first ten minutes that was before Colorado got back in the game by hitting back to back three pointers and only down 9 points by a score of 66-57 .
