Chad Green, Adam Ottavino And Luke Voit Falter As New York's Losing Streak Gets Extended To Four Games In Their Loss To Toronto In Buffalo New York

Another game, another loss that is how it has gone lately for New York and that trend continued on Labor Day verses Toronto as they lost their fourth straight game!

Where?

In Buffalo New York at the home of Buffalo Bison who is Toronto’s Triple A Affiliate

Why did New York’s losing streak continue?

Chad Green and Adam Ottavino combined to record only one out, enduring a nightmarish 10-run sixth inning that saw 13 Blue Jays bat. The 43-minute half-inning featured five hits, four walks and an error by New York first baseman Luke Voit , capped by Danny Jansen’s grand slam in the Yankees’ crushing 12-7 loss on Monday evening at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, N.Y “according to an article by Bryan Hoch on mlb.com

While New York suffered yet another loss meanwhile, Toronto won the opening game of the three game series as well as their second straight game!

Why?

Because Toronto put up 10 runs in the sixth inning of their 12-7 win by doing a little bit of everything all at once. There were walks to set the table, seeing-eye ground balls, a grand slam from Danny Jansen and even a stolen base by Vladimir Guerrero Jr.”according to an article by  Keegan Matheson  on mlb.com

J.A. Happ and Taijuan Walker are supposed to start game two of the three game series in Buffalo New York on Tuesday Night. J.A. Happ who is a left handed pitcher for New York comes into the game with a record of 1-1 with an earn run average of 4.68 Happ said that he pitched better than the box score indicated after permitting four runs and eight hits to the Mets over five innings on Thursday. In his previous start on Aug. 29, he held the same club to three hits in 7 1/3 scoreless frames. While Taijuan Walker who unlike J.A. Happ,is a right handed pitcher will start for Toronto. He comes into the game with a record of 3-2 with an earn run average of 3.26.Walker has been a great pickup since coming from the Mariners. He will be making his third start for Toronto. This time, it will be against the Yankees. He will face them for the third time in his career. He is 0-2 with a 3.95 ERA against them. However, their is a chance that mother nature could get in the way of J.A. Happ and Taijuan Walker’s starts and game two of the three game series!

Why?

Because their is a 47% chance of precipitation at first pitch! “according to https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/buffalo/14202/hourly-weather-forecast/349726

First pitch is set for 6:37pm from Sahlen Field!
